Of course, I can't forget the sweet and beautiful days I spent in my hometown, Maarat al-Numan, a city in northern Syria. It's a city known for its simplicity and tranquility, with kind-hearted people. Everyone loves each other, knows each other, and helps one another.
The best part was when we, as neighbors, used to visit each other. My neighbor and I, in particular, would have morning gatherings, where we'd have morning coffee together,
enjoy some food, sweets, and juices, laugh and have a great time. Those were some of the best days and moments spent with neighbors. I still remember the outings, not just with my sisters and friends,
but with all my companions in Maarat al-Numan. There were many great restaurants we used to visit in the evenings, enjoying tea or having dinner and spending wonderful times, especially in the summer when the weather was warm. These places had a unique charm,
and the food was famous, especially the desserts in our city, Maarat al-Numan. I have many memories from this town, but the mornings spent at restaurants with neighbors stand out the most.
We also had a market, a bazaar, where people from all around would come, even from the small villages around Maarat al-Numan. In the market, we could find a wide variety of products, including dairy products, clothing, vegetables, and fruits. It was a bustling and popular market, and we used to go there to have a great time and enjoy our visits to such markets. Our country is beautiful, and we have many cherished memories here. These are just a few of the memories that I remember and still find great joy in recalling.
